Again in honor of the Sesquicentennial Celebration of the War Between the States, there are Civil War connections in several articles.

That devastating war is a subject that has and will continue to draw writers because of the dramatic potential and historic significance. My newest novel, Under A Bloody Flag, deals with the roots of that war in Kansas and Missouri. It will be followed by the second book, Under a Black Flag, as a series I called War in the West.
